Not So Mere Words

I have been inspired by minds far busier and active than mine to place upon this paper, for your reading indulgence, and, dare I presume, pleasure, a few random thoughts of the sort I was wont to do before my life and inner workings of this mind were invaded, attacked, nay, conquered by the mundanities of day to day living.

I have been ever of the mind that the term mere can not, may not and should not be applied to the letters that make up words. For if your words abound within the realm of the mere, then must so your thoughts. And what are you if not the manifestation of the thoughts within you. If you deem your words to be mere, then you, yourself, are labelling your thoughts with this attribute. You are defining yourself by this limitation.

Nay! I am not mere. My words are not mere. My thoughts are not mere.

They are vast. They reside within the realm of the glorious. For they are an indication, at the very least, of what makes up my existence. My SELF.

They are profound. They have, entrenched within them, the many many droplets that make up my soul. Each letter, as it strings together with the next, is an affirmation that I, my existence, my presence in this world, is of greater meaning than mere would dare to encompass.

So, dear reader, I entreat of you. Do not render yourself mere. Do not place restrictions upon yourself ere you show that image to the world. For you are as vast and as profound as you choose to be.

Choose to be glorious!
