It really really really irritates me when people put up jokes that perpetuate gender stereotypes. Whether they be masculine or feminine.
– A husband putting up with a wife’s unreasonable demands.
– A girl loving a boy for only his money cause she has no brains
– How only a mother can love and understand a man , not a wife.
– A little girl being called a “doll”, with the expectation that it is acceptable.
And it happens on both sides of the pond.
Please start thinking about and realizing the affects of these “harmless” jokes. I’m not a feminist by any means, but the 100th joke repeating the same old tired line is just not funny anymore.
